Plot Summary
The lonely teenager Brendan finds his former girlfriend Emily dead in the entrance of a tunnel of sewage and recalls her phone call two days ago, when she said to him that she was in trouble. He hides her body in the tunnel and decides to investigate the meaning and connection of four words, including “brick” and “pin”, that Emily told him to find who killed her. Using the support of his nerd friend Brain, he successively meets the small time drug dealers Kara, Dode, Brad Bramish, Laura and Tugger, to reach the teenager powerful drug dealer The Pin. Slowly, Brendan unravels the motives why Emily was killed and plots a revenge. Written by Claudio Carvalho.

ANAHEIM - Nebraskans take note: A group of hundreds walked away from Knott’s Berry Farm on Thursday having minted a world record for the number of people husking corn at once. To certify the record, Knott’s needed at least 250 people. A crowd about a hundred more than that gathered at Calico Square before the event, waving their soon-to-be husked ears of corn in a scene that more closely resembled a Midwestern postcard than a Southern California theme park. GARDEN GROVE – A woman accused of drugging her estranged husband, cutting off his penis and putting it through a garbage disposal appeared in court for the first time Wednesday. Catherine Kieu Becker, 48, of Garden Grove has been charged with felony torture, aggravated mayhem and sentencing enhancements for great bodily injury and personal use of a knife. SANTA ANA – In a Fountain Valley officer-involved shooting in which the suspect received more than 30 shotgun pellet wounds, jurors must weigh whether the bipolar 17-year-old imagined being a CIA spy or knew he was in a shootout with cops. An exchange of gunfire at an apartment complex in which David Vinh Dinh fired four shots – one as a warning and the other three into the ground – from an AK47 occurred not because he wanted to kill anyone, but because he wanted to get away. ANAHEIM – An American flag draped over his back, Yaman Kahf stood with hundreds of protesters Sunday, roaring a message of solidarity from Orange County’s Little Arabia to the blood-stained streets of Syria. ”The important thing is that the people over there need to know that they’re not alone,” said Kahf, a Garden Grove resident. The rally at Brookhurst Street and Orange Avenue drew more than 300 people, all expressing hope Syria will be the latest Middle East country to witness the toppling of a long-reigning autocracy.
